Streamlining of Documents Required from Qualified Returning OFWs Bound for Libya
between officials of the Philippine Embassy in Tripoli, Libya and DMW Technical Mission Act of 2018 and based on the agreement reached during the consultation meeting No.12,Series of 2019 have been streamlined,as follows Team on the assessment of the current peace and order security situation in the said country the documents required in the processing and issuance of OECIOFW Pass to qualified returning workers being referred to under Governing Board Resolution (GBR) Pursuant to the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery
1 Certificate of Conditional Exemption from the existing deployment ban issued
2 3. Valid Work VisaWork Permit; and by the Philippine Embassy in Tripoli attaching the existing employment contract Passport; of the worker;
4. Medical and Life Insurance Coverage
the supporting documentary reguirements submitted by the employer in compliance with the aforementioned GBR. It is further understood that the medical and life insurance coverage of the workers is at cost to the employer and must be reimbursed if paid initially Certificate of Conditional Exemption with an attached employment contract, has retained by the workers. It is understood that the Philippine Embassy in Tripoli, upon issuance of the
deployment of new-hire OFWs bound for Libya, pending the outcome of further assessments on the peace and order security situation on the said country to be conducted by the Philippine Embassy/DFA in coordination with this Department.
