Implementation of the provisions of Circular No. 266
CIRCULAR LETTER Series of 2000
TO : ALL BANKS/NBQBs AND OTHER FINANCIAL INTERMEDIARIES PERFORMING TRUST AND OTHER FIDUCIARY BUSINESS
To support the implementation of the provisions of Circular No. 266 dated November 7, 2000 on the settlement procedures for interbank loans transactions and purchase and sale of government securities under repurchase agreements with BSP, the cash-in vault (CIV) component of available reserves shall be based on the actual CIV balance outstanding two banking days ago, for purposes of computing the reserve position of the current day, effective from December 29, 2000.
