New template for the electronic transmission of the report on Compliance with Mandatory Credit Allocation with Small and Medium Enterprises

TO             :   ALL COMMERCIAL BANKS, THRIFT BANKS AND RURAL BANKS

SUBJECT   :    NEW TEMPLATE FOR THE ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSION OF THE REPORT ON COMPLIANCE WITH THE MANDATORY CREDIT ALLOCATION WITH SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES.

Effective for the quarter report ending December 2001, the attached new user-friendly template shall be used in transmitting electronically (via any one option - cc:mail, internet or in diskette form) to BSP, the quarterly Report on Compliance with Mandatory Credit Allocation Required under R. A. 6977.

Banks shall be required to copy the template from the Supervisory Reports and Studies Office (SRSO), 16th floor, Multi-Storey Building, BSP Complex, Manila. Banks with internet may request the templates at [email protected] and those with cc:mail address may request at SRSO-SME.

Banks electronically reporting are also required to fax to SRSO at Fax #523-34-61, the notarized Control Prooflist, duly signed by the authorized officer of the bank. Banks not yet able to submit electronically may submit their report in hard copy to SRSO.

Attached are the guidelines in accomplishing the new SME template and the revised format of the main report and supporting schedules.
