REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3175 - AN ACT TO FURTHER AMEND COMMONWEALTH ACT NUMBERED ONE HUNDRED E1GHTY-SIX7 AS AMENDED, TO PROVIDE FOR THE PAYMENT BY THE NATIONAL GOVERNMENT OF THE ADDITIONAL PREMIUMS FOR SERVICES PRIOR TO JUNE SIXTEEN, NINETEEN HUNDRED FIFTY-ONE.

AN ACT TO FURTHER AMEND COMMONWEALTH ACT NUMBERED ONE HUNDRED E1GHTY-SIX7 AS AMENDED, TO PROVIDE FOR THE PAYMENT BY THE NATIONAL GOVERNMENT OF THE ADDITIONAL PREMIUMS FOR SERVICES PRIOR TO JUNE SIXTEEN, NINETEEN HUNDRED FIFTY-ONE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. Subsection (a) of Section seven of Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred eighty-six, as amended, is hereby further amended to read as follows:

"SEC. 7. Additional amounts or premiums. —(a) For the amount of annuity corresponding to the services rendered by an employee prior to June sixteen, nineteen hundred and fifty-one, the National Government shall pay the necessary additional amounts or premiums as may be determined by the System, which shall be paid in equal annual amortizations for a period not to exceed fifty years under such terms and conditions as the Board may prescribe. The sums necessary for this purpose are deemed appropriated in accordance with Section twenty-seven of this act.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval: Provided, That the additional amounts or premiums for services rendered prior to June sixteen, nineteen hundred fifty-one, payable by an employer which are unpaid as of the approval of this amendatory Act shall be paid by the National Government.
