CREATING THE BANGSAMORO SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT BOARD,DEFINING ANACT

ITS POWERS AND FUNCTIONS,PROVIDING FUNDS THEREFOR AND FOR OTHER

PURPOSES

Be it enacted by the Bangsamoro Transition Authority in Parliament assembled

Development Board Act of 2022 Section 1. Short Title.- This Act shall be known as the The Bangsamoro Sustainable

Section 3. Bangsamoro Sustainable Development Framework. - The Board shall

Bangsamoro Sustainable Development Board. - There is hereby created and established the Bangsamoro Sustainable Development Board, hereinafter referred to as the Board composed of representatives from the National Government and the Bangsamoro Government, which shall ensure the integration and harmonization of economic, social, and environmental considerations as vital dimensions of sustainable development policy and practice in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.

Section 5. Composition. --- The Board shall be chaired by the Senior Minister and co-chaired by the appropriate official from the National Government, with its members being the following:

Section 9. Board Meeting. -- The Board shall meet at least once every quarter at such time. place, and date as may be determined and fixed by it: Provided, That, there shall be, in all its meetings, prior notices served to all the members thereof.

Every member of the Board shall be entitled to travel expenses and honoraria for every meeting attended in an amount to be fixed by the Board.

Section 11. Mandatory Review. - The Bangsamoro Government, through the Board, shall undertake a mandatory review of the implementation of this Act, five (5) years after its implementation, and every five (5) years thereafter. The Bangsamoro Parliament shall be part of the process.
