AMENDMENTS TO ROMANIA'S LONG-STAY VISA (TYPE D) FEE

to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) collected by the Embassy of Romania in Manila for the long-stay (Type D) visa issued The public is hereby informed of changes to Romanian law regarding visa fees

According to the Embassy of Romania in Manila through the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), the long-stay visa (Type D) fee has been increased to USD 338. The fee is payable in cash at the counter at the time of the consular interview.

Further, the Embassy would like the public to note of the following

1 Applications submitted through the Romanian e-Visa Portal starting from 27 April 2026 are charged the new fee of USD 338; and 2. Applications submitted through Romanian e-Visa Portal prior to 27 April 2026 are charged the previous USD135.
