[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8938, August 22, 2000 ]

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY AMUNGAN, MUNICIPALITY OF IBA, PROVINCE OF ZAMBALES TO BE KNOWN AS THE AMUNGAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled: SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports, a national high school in Barangay Amungan, Municipality of Iba, Province of Zambales to be known as the Amungan National High School.

SEC. 2. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.

SEC. 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on August 17, 1999 and May 22, 2000, respectively.
