SUBJECT : SUSPENSION FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS OF ATTY. FELISBERTO L. VERANO, JR.

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the dispositive portion of the Resolution of the Supreme Court En Banc dated 15 July 2014 in Administrative Case No. 8108 entitled "Dante La Jimenez & Lauro G. Vizconde vs. Atty. Felisberto L. Verano, Jr. and Administrative Case No. 10299 entitled Atty. Oliver O. Lozano vs. Atty. Felisberto L. Verano, Jr.," to wit:

WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing, Atty. Felisberto L Verano, Jr. is found GUILTY of Violating Rules 1.02 and 15.07, in relation to Canon 13 of the Code of Professional Responsibility, for which he is SUSPENDED from the practice of law for six (6) months effective immediately. This also serves as an emphatic WARNING that repetition of any similar offense shall be dealt with more severely.

Respondent received on 30 July 2014 the said Resolution.
