AN ACT RENAMING THE PORTION OF THE PRESIDENT SERGIO OSMENA SR. HIGHWAY STARTING FROM KILOMETER 28.387 AT SAN PEDRO, LAGUNA, AND ANY FURTHER EXTENSION OF THE SAME WITHIN THE SAID PROVINCE TO DR. JOSE P. RIZAL HIGHWAY, AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED SIXTY-SEVEN HUNDRED AND SIXTY

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. Section One of Republic Act Numbered Sixty-seven hundred and sixty, entitled "An Act Changing the Name of the South Superhighway to President Sergio Osmeña Sr. Highway," is hereby amended to read as follows:

SEC. 1. The South Superhighway stretching from Metro Manila to the Province of Laguna is hereby renamed President Sergio Osmeña Sr. Highway: Provided, That the portion starting from Kilometer 28.387 at San Pedro, Laguna, and any further extension of the same within the said province is hereby renamed Dr. Jose P. Rizal Highway."

SEC. 2. All laws, decrees, orders and proclamations inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect after fifteen (15) days following its publication in two (2) national newspapers of general circulation.

This Act which is a consolidation of House Bill No. 30472 and Senate Bill No. 1871 was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on February 6, 1992.
