Savings Consciousness Week
CIRCULAR LETTER NO. CL-2009-045
Pursuant to Proclamation No. 380 dated May 15, 1994 (copy attached) designating June 30 to July 6 as Savings Consciousness Week, all banking institutions and their branches are enjoined to undertake during the period such promotional and publicity-generating activities as advertising, window and counter displays, streamers, distribution of give-aways, raffles and similar incentives and devices.
We hope that through the observance of Savings Consciousness Week, we will be able to promote awareness and appreciation of the vital role of savings in national development.
To unify the campaign, banks are also requested to incorporate the theme, Kinabukasan Siguruhin, Pag-iimpok ay Ugaliin, and the phrase “Savings Consciousness Week, June 30 to July 6, 2009” in their promotional materials and print advertisements during the period.
