ANACT UPGRADING THE SULU PROVINCIAL HOSPITALINTO A LEVELHI HOSPITAL
INCREASING ITS BED CAPACITY TO TWO HUNDRED (2OO),UPGRADING ITS PROFESSIONALHEALTH CARE SERVICES AND FACILITIES.AUTHORIZING THE
INCREASE OF ITS MEDICAL PERSONNEL,AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS
THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Bangsamoro Transition Authority in Parliament assembled
increased bed capacity from one hundred (100) to two hundred (200), under the direct supervision and Section 1. The Sulu Provincial Hospital is hereby upgraded into a Level II Hospital with
control of the Ministry of Health-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (MOH- BARMM)
and facilities are hereby upgraded accordingly, in compliance with the national Department of Health (DOH) standards. Section 2. The existing professional health care services, the number of staffing compliments
Section 3. The Regulation and Licensing Enforcement Division (RLED) of MOH-BARMM in coordination with the Ministry of Finance, Budget and Management (MFBM) shall immediately include in the Ministry's program, the operational guidelines of a Level II facility and determine the additional plantilla positions to be created and filled up following the recommendations of the Sulu Provincial Hospital (SPH) administration.
Section 4. The Bangsamoro Autonomous Government shall provide the necessary funds in support of the upgrading and increase in bed capacity of the Sulu Provincial Hospital.
Section 5. Funding for Personnel Services (PS), Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE) shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act of the Bangsamoro. The budget shall be apportioned in three (3) tranches, to start in the calendar year 2022 with the following allocation: Year 1- 40%, Year 2- 30%, Year 3- 30%.

Section 6. The Minister of the MOH-BARMM, in consultation with the management of the Sulu Provincial Hospital, shall issue orders, rules and circulars as may be necessary to carry out the implementation of this Act.
Section 7. The provisions of this Act are hereby declared separable, and in the event one or more of such provisions or part thereof are declared unconstitutional, such declaration of unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity of the other provisions not affected thereof.
Section 8. All regional laws, acts, decrees, executive orders, proclamations and administrative regulations which are inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are hereby amended, modified. superseded or repealed accordingly.
Section 9.This Act shall take effect after fifteen (15) days after its publication in a newspaper of regional circulation in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.
