AN ACT CONVERTING THEIRANON DISTRICT HOSPITAL IN THE
MUNICIPALITY OF PARANG, PROVINCE OF MAGUINDANAO DEL
IRANON PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS NORTE INTO A PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL TO BE KNOWN AS THE THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Bangsamoro Transition Authority Parliament in session assembled:
2023." SECTION 1. Short Title. -- This Act shall be known as the Iranon Provincial Hospital Act of
Municipality of Parang, Province of Maguindanao del Norte, is hereby converted into a 200-bed capacity provincial hospital, to be known as the Iranon Provincial Hospital (IPH), under the direct supervision and control of the Ministry of Health (MOH). SEC. 2. Conversion of Iranon District Hospital. - The Iranon District Hospital (IDH) in the
increased to two hundred (200) beds. Any future increase in bed capacity shall be consistent with the hospital development plan, which shall be prepared by the Chief of Hospital of the IPH and submitted to the MOH. SEC. 3. Future Increase of Bed Capacity. -- The authorized bed capacity of the IPH shall be
bed capacity as provided for in Section 2 hereof. and facilities of the IPH shall also be upgraded to conform with and be commensurate with the increase in SEC. 4. Existing Physical Structures and Services. -- The existing professional health care services
support personnel shall be increased corresponding to the increase in bed capacity. SEC. 5. Existing Workforce. -- The existing workforce of the IPH, including doctors, nurses, and
the additional Plantilla positions to be created and filled up. the Civil Service Commission (CSC) and in consultation with the management of the IPH, shall determine The MOH, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance, Budget and Management (MFBM), and
facilities, including the increase in workforce commensurate with the increase in bed capacity, shall be implemented over a period of three (3) years from the approval of this Act. SEC. 6. Implementation of Upgrade. -- The upgrade of professional health care services and

SEC. 7. Appropriations. -- An initial amount of Fifty Million Pesos (P50,000,000.00), necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act, shall be charged against the 2025 General Appropriation Act of the Bangsamoro (GAAB). Thereafter, the funds necessary for the operation of the hospital shall be included in the annual appropriations for the year following its enactment.
SEC. 8. Implementation of this Act. -- Within sixty (60) days from the effectivity of this Act, the MOH shall promulgate the necessary rules and regulations, in consultation with the Provincial Government of Maguindanao del Norte and other stakeholders, for the effective implementation of this Act.

SEC. 10. Separability Clause. - If any provision or part of this Act is declared unconstitutional, the remaining provisions or parts not affected shall remain in full force and effect.
SEC.11. Repealing Clause. - All laws, decrees, executive orders, issuances, rules, and regulations,
modified accordingly. or parts thereof, that are inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed, amended, or
SEC. 12. Effectivity. -- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days following its complete publication in a newspaper of regional circulation.
